Terms of Service
Effective Date: 2025
These Terms of Service apply globally and govern your access to and use of the LabMapp platform.
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LabMapp ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
LabMapp is a subscription-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows users to securely upload, store, organize, and visualize their personal health and laboratory test data.
LabMapp does not provide medical advice, medical diagnosis, or treatment and does not replace healthcare professionals or medical consultations.
3. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to notify LabMapp promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance according to the plan selected at the time of purchase.
Payments, billing, tax calculation, invoicing, and payment processing are handled by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Your purchase is therefore subject to Paddle's applicable terms, tax handling practices, and billing policies.
By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription. Prices may change from time to time; continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.
5. Refund Policy
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
Refunds, when applicable, are processed in accordance with Paddle's refund policy. LabMapp may approve refunds in cases of billing errors or as mandated by consumer protection laws.
To request a refund, please contact support and provide relevant payment details.
6. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:
Upload unlawful, infringing, misleading, or harmful content
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or misuse of the Service
You remain solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ownership of any data you upload or submit.
7. Health Disclaimer
LabMapp is not a medical service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and does not replace professional healthcare services.
Always seek the advice of qualified healthcare professionals regarding any medical condition or health-related decisions.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to the LabMapp Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data is collected, used, stored, and protected. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand your rights and our data practices.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, content, trademarks, and branding, are owned by LabMapp or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service solely in accordance with these Terms.
10. Service Availability and Modifications
LabMapp strives to keep the Service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where feasible.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LabMapp and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
In no event shall LabMapp's total liability exceed the amounts paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
13. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will stop future billing at the end of the current billing period.
LabMapp may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Certain provisions of these Terms shall survive termination.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable consumer protection and contract laws relevant to SaaS services.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
15. Changes to These Terms
LabMapp may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
